Summer sports

I have know idea if anyone reads this or not, so i use it kind of like a open-ended journal when I feel like it- need to write, it is the residual energy from writing around 90 papers during the school year
Summer sports season...so i am NOT the type for sports, i played soccer back in the day, but i have no hand eye coordination and an unnatural ability to get hit in the head with something wherever i go (you should see me be forced to play volleyball; its just sad)...I stick to running and rock climbing for my personal exercise and I get dragged sailing with my dad all the time

i've never been a big fan of watching sports, i still dont watch unless someone else is, but I have been loyal to certain teams since i was a little kid for various reasons- the bulls-havent watched basketball since Jordan left, The Bears- my longest team love, i'm totally loyal and will watch bears football, i'm a touchy feely sports fan who likes teams because i feel bad for them (or like the bucaneers because they have a giant foam pirate ship)....which leads me to the White Sox, now i have been a huge sox fan since i was a kid, i liked them because i felt bad that everyone liked the cubs, i got made fun of it for a long time..and now its been time to suck it - South Side Pride mutha-fuckers- Last years we won the fucking world series- THE WHITE SOX- its amazing, and it wasnt a fluke they're still good, and strangely i actually have been watching baseball- i think that it is much less long and boring now that i can drink- went to a game the other day and had a blast, there was a grand slam in the 7th to tie, and then homerun in the tenth to win..it was awesome..even if there were gross breeders in front of me- what is it with drunk old people and making out in public- it makes me want to vomit...anywho

i also enjoy watching tennis, i picked it up a number of years ago with breakfast at wimbledon during the summer and get excited everyyear...Especially now that i have tivo and can skip the boring crap and dont have to wake up at 8am to catch the matches i want to see...YAY wimbledon..i miss the williams kicking everyones asses, but i like amelie muressmo so its all good
